Welcome to our FAQ section! Here you’ll find everything you need to know about ordering, picking up, and receiving our pastries, cakes, and coffee — all baked fresh in East Gosford.

🥐 Ordering

How do I place an order?
You can order directly on our website bouffant.com.au.
Add your favourite pastries or cakes to the cart, choose a pickup or delivery date, and checkout. You’ll get a confirmation email once your order is placed.

How far in advance should I order?
Most items are ready with 24 hours’ notice, but larger cakes or custom orders may need 2–3 days. Same-day pickups are sometimes possible — just call us to check availability.

Can I change or cancel my order?
We know plans change! Please contact us as soon as possible. Once we start baking, we may not be able to make changes or cancel without charge.

Can I order custom cakes or boxes?
Yes! We love making something special. Send us your ideas — theme, flavour, size, message — and we’ll confirm timing and pricing.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shopify Pay.

Where do I pick up my order?
From our sunny bakery at:
📍 Bouffant – 101A Victoria Street, East Gosford NSW 2250

When can I pick up?
Pickup hours are during normal shop trading hours. You’ll get an email when your order is ready — most are available within 24 hours.

Do I need to book a pickup time?
Not usually. But if you need it ready at a specific time (e.g. for a birthday or event), add a note at checkout and we’ll confirm.

What happens if I’m running late?
No stress — just let us know. We’ll hold your order until closing time, though freshness can’t be guaranteed after long delays.

🚗 Delivery

Do you offer delivery?
Yes! We deliver locally around the Central Coast. Delivery zones and fees are calculated at checkout.

How much notice do you need for delivery?
Most delivery orders need 24 hours’ notice. For larger or event orders, we suggest 48–72 hours.

Can I request a delivery time?
You can note your preferred time when checking out — we’ll do our best to deliver within that window (traffic and weather permitting).

What if no one is home?
Our driver will try to leave it in a safe spot. Because our products are perishable, we recommend ensuring someone is home to receive them.

Do you use Uber, DoorDash, or Menulog for delivery?
For freshness, we do our own deliverywhere possible. 

🍰 Storage & Freshness

How should I store my pastries or cakes?
Keep them cool and dry, away from direct sunlight.
Most pastries are best eaten within 1–2 days. Cakes should be refrigerated and served at room temperature for best flavour.

Can I freeze your products?
Yes — many of our pastries freeze well. Just thaw at room temperature and reheat lightly in the oven for that fresh-baked feel.

💛 Issues, Refunds & Special Requests

What if something is wrong with my order?
Please email hello@bouffant.com.au with your order number and a photo if possible. We’ll fix it quickly — replacement, credit, or refund depending on the issue.

Do you offer refunds for change of mind?
Because everything is made fresh to order, we can’t offer refunds once production has started — but we’ll always do our best to help if circumstances change.

Do you cater for events or wholesale orders?
Absolutely! We can supply larger quantities or styled boxes for events, cafes, or offices. Get in touch for a quote.

  • Order early for weekends and holidays — we often sell out!

  • Add notes for gift messages or celebration tags.

  • Make sure your delivery address and phone number are correct.
